Last day of class for the week

Wow, this week went by pretty quickly. Today after classes, Crystal and I are going to go home to eat lunch and then hopefully meet up with a couple girls to go see Cristo Rey! I heard the view was incredible and that it is so worth it to go see it.

Tomorrow morning we leave for Mexico City! We are going to get to visit the Anthropology Museum tomorrow and walk around the city for a bit and also check in to our hotel. Saturday we get to go to the Frida Kahlo museum and this huge bazaar they have. I hope I find some cool stuff there. We also might get to see the inside of this amazing church there. Ruben also mentioned maybe riding the train in Mexico City Friday night. He said the Metro there is cleaner than the one in New York City. We'll see....Sunday we get to see-walk around the pyramids at Teotihuacan!!! Pyramids! How awesome is that! It should be a fun-filled weekend. We won't get back until late Sunday night.

Well, not much else has happened. Today is a pretty good day so far and I am definitely looking forward to this weekend. I don't think I've ever been in a city as large as Mexico City...oh, so excited.

Our SeƱora was in an incredibly wonderful and pleasant mood yesterday. She made us french toast and hot chocolate for dinner. She also had 5 different friends or workers over yesterday. She is just a chatty Cathy. She is always either on the phone, out with someone, or people are over. I guess it is good for her though :) It keeps her occupied.

I only have 5 weeks left and they are so planned out. I have papers due and a presentation and then most of the weekends are packed...eeek!!! August 1 will be here before I know it. I can't believe next week is July! Wow...
